Series synopsis and Ramuda’s Wiki. There’s not a whole lot of info on Ramuda’s backstory available there, though, so I’ll summarize it here.

Ramuda is a clone created by Rei Amayado that is designed to carry out orders for The Party of Words, commonly known as Chuohku, which is the ward it is based in. He commonly takes orders from Ichijiku Kadenokoji specifically. He was largely responsible for forming the legendary rap group, The Dirty Dawg (TDD), which consisted of Ichiro Yamada, Samatoki Aohitsugi, Jakurai Jinguji and himself. A lot of events ensued though, some of which were largely Ramuda’s fault, that lead to TDD breaking up and splitting into different divisions. These events included brainwashing Samatoki's sister + Kuko + Sasara, putting Jakurai's son into a coma, and subsequently pitting himself and Jakurai along with Ichiro and Samatoki against each other.

Later, Ramuda formed a new group: Fling Posse, representing the Shibuya division. Dice Arisugawa, a chronic gambler, and Gentaro Yumeno, a famous author, are the other two members -- though they were not chosen at random. Ramuda was instructed by Chuohku to recruit them for reasons unbeknownst to him, and was eventually planning on splitting them up, too. However, as the series went on, the three of them got very close and Ramuda didn't know what to do with that knowledge. The first Division Rap Battle (DRB) of the series came along and he's tasked with brainwashing Jakurai with a real Hypnosis Mic from Chuohku. However, because Ichijiku told him they have more use for Jakurai over him and some lingering attachments, he decided against doing so and used his standard mic against Jakurai in the DRB.

As a result, Ichijiku cut down on his supply of special candies he needs to sustain himself and left him to suffer. Ramuda pleaded for his life but Chuohku saw that as a weakness. Ichijiku tried to dispose of him permanently for being ‘defective’, and because he's technically one of their greatest secrets. However, Dice and Gentaro swooped in to save him and reaffirmed their bond. That's where we're at, canonpoint wise!

Personality:
Charismatic. Ramuda has a childlike innocence to him that is incredibly staged but endearing to many nevertheless. Most of the Hypnosis Mic cast sees through this and gets more of Ramuda’s less appealing sides, but the general public sees him as a stylish, bubbly individual. He has a knack for getting people to model his clothing for him, too, and has no qualms with using his cutesy demeanor to get what he wants.

Clever. A lot of the events surrounding the creation and downfall of The Dirty Dawg, as well as the formation of Fling Posse, can be attributed to the way Ramuda uses his words. He investigates people thoroughly, whether it be by himself or through asking a third party for information, and uses that knowledge to his advantage. For instance, he had Ichiro dig up information on Gentaro that he used to persuade him to consider making a group with him. It can be said that often times this was because acted under Chuohku’s orders, which is true -- but his wits are ultimately what allowed him to carry out those plans and successfully complete the missions Ichijiku gave to him. He’s manipulative and plays on people’s weaknesses to achieve his goals, which is not a good thing, but it typically is pretty efficient, at least...

Talented. Ramuda is renowned for being a powerful rapper. He was part of TDD, after all, and they're considered legends. His words hit hard and can bring tough opponents to their knees, which is considered a feat in Hypmic. He can improvise and make up lyrics on the fly and make them have meaning. There's a reason why he's the leader of Fling Posse. Aside from that, he's a wonderful fashion designer and can attract models to try on his clothes.

On emotion: Being able to experience human emotions is both Ramuda's greatest strength and his biggest downfall. It's his biggest downfall because it's successfully painted a target on his back; it's his greatest strength because it allows him to care for others and even defy orders from Ichijiku, such as when he chose not to brainwash Jakurai. Part of it could have been a lingering attachment to Jakurai despite their falling out, but another part of it was because he felt like it wouldn't have mattered either way, since Ichijiku essentially told him his life was meaningless in the grand scheme of things. He also has moments in which he feels like things will work out thanks to Dice and Gentaro. While battling his clones that are trying to kill him, Ramuda even reveals in his rap that he sees Dice and Gentaro as his friends.

He tries very hard not to get attached to others, especially Gentaro and Dice, because of his missions from Ichijiku that are essentially his entire purpose for living. However, again, his human side gets the best of him and he naturally starts to love and appreciate them more than he'd like to admit. They're probably the only two people so far in the series that know he's a clone and haven't seen him as being fake.

That being said, he also gets very angry and holds grudges. His grudge against Jakurai stems from Jakurai referring to him as "artificial"; his anger towards Ichijiku is so intense that he'll commonly talk about killing her. At one point, he's so upset at her, Chuohku, and his entire situation that he even says he'll kill all of humanity. It gets...pretty intense.

Secretive... Ramuda is extremely touchy when it comes to people prying into his past. He has a darker side of him -- his "true" personality, in which his voice drops into a lower register -- that usually comes out when he's provoked, stressed, or trying to intimidate someone. It comes out when Gentaro asks him about his history after performing an investigation on him (when said investigation brought up no record whatsoever); Ramuda glowers at him and warns him not to ask him those sorts of questions. Conversations like those "displease him" and he prefers not to reveal his situation to anyone in general. Other than those in Chuohku, Gentaro, Dice, and Jakurai are the only ones who know about his history, though not by choice. Still, he seems to trust the two in Fling Posse with this information since they saved his life and believe him to be the true Ramuda.

That he hasn't done anything to silence Dice or Gentaro is huge, because he had actually put Jakurai's son in a coma because he figured out the truth. (Yeah. It's a lot.)

...and yet, very transparent. That being said, Ramuda is a lot more expressive than he'd like to admit. In the first DRB, Chuohku summons him to task him with brainwashing Jakurai; he is visibly disturbed after this conversation and Gentaro and Dice pick up on it rather easily. Even Jakurai himself notices that something's not quite right with Ramuda. He tries to mask it by putting on a smile; unfortunately for him, his friends are a bit too smart for that. Ramuda likes to think he can mask how he's feeling in times like these, but really? He can't, at least not until it's too late.

On living: Despite the reason behind his creation, despite how Chuohku sees him as disposable, Ramuda really does like being alive. In fact, when he's literally dying due to not having candies to sustain his body, he begs for his life in front of Ichijiku, who denies his request. Ramuda is a mess afterwards and tries to fight for his survival. Not once does he give up on himself; even when he's on his last legs, when his clones attempt to kill Dice and Gentaro, Ramuda uses whatever strength he has left to protect them and subsequently fight with them. Even when the world seems to want him to quit, Ramuda refuses to give up on himself. And he's grateful that he's not the only one who won't, either.

Abilities & Inventory:
Ramuda is in possession of a Hypnosis Microphone that allows lyrics that are channeled through the Mic to affect people psychologically. The Mic also allows its user to actually launch their opponents backwards depending on how powerful their lyrics are. Ramuda’s Rap Ability -- something that one can obtain after successfully using the Mic over an extended period of time -- involves the creation of illusions.

Inventory: A bunch of lollipops stuffed into his jacket pockets, his cellphone, his Hypnosis mic.

Suitability & Plans:
So! Ramuda is a tragic character; as stated in his history section, he’s essentially a clone invented to carry out orders from Chuohku, and Chuohku views him as disposable because of his more human qualities, as well as the fact that there are multiple versions of him that are more "functional". The main thing I want to explore with him is that being in Songerein, away from his clones and Chuohku (presumably), would give him a chance to really discover himself and who he is as an individual rather than as a product. He’ll probably be searching for a purpose now that he’s not under anyone’s orders and can live freely, so I think that he’ll start to find a lot of value in the connections he’ll make with others, even if he will do so begrudgingly. In turn, ideally, this will help him find value in himself as well and show him that he truly is more than a tool meant to carry out orders. I think him coming to terms with this will also help him realize that other people are also more than tools, too. This is the biggest reason why I chose to app Ramuda.

He has a lot of potential to form genuine connections and learn what it means to be human without Chuohku. If someone from Chuohku were to apply, I think he’d still be able to rely on the connections he’d have formed in Songerein -- castmates and crosscanon friends alike -- to help him defy them more strongly.

While his bubbly disposition is largely an act, I think that’ll work to his advantage at first and help him make friends, even if they’ll be, uh, "surface-level" for a bit. The nightmare aspect will also reveal parts of him that he’d ordinarily never talk about, which would be great for his character development and will serve as a good way for other characters to get to know him beyond his shallow exterior. He harbors a lot of pain and resentment, yes, but he’s also very capable of getting attached to others, too.

Plus, designing a treehouse sounds like it’d be fun. Some of the softer aspects of the game will help him chill out and take a breather after nearly getting killed, so!!
